Light & Linen – Shipping & Delivery Policy

Thank you for shopping with Light & Linen. This Shipping & Delivery Policy explains how orders placed on lightandlinen.co.za are processed, shipped, and delivered.


1. Shipping Locations

Light & Linen currently ships within South Africa only.

At this time, we do not offer international shipping.


2. Shipping Courier

All orders are shipped using Aramex to ensure reliable and secure delivery.

Once your order has been shipped, you may receive tracking information where available.


3. Processing Time

Because many of our products are handmade, orders require processing time before shipping.

Orders are typically processed and prepared within 2–5 business days before being handed over to the courier.

Processing times may increase during:

  • High order volumes

  • Holiday periods

  • Promotional sales


4. Delivery Time

Estimated delivery time is 9–14 business days from the date the order is shipped.

Please note that delivery times are estimates and may vary due to:

  • Courier delays

  • Weather conditions

  • Public holidays

  • Remote delivery locations

Light & Linen is not responsible for delays caused by courier services.


5. Shipping Costs

Shipping fees are calculated as follows:

  • Flat rate shipping: R90 for all orders

  • Free shipping: Orders over R1000

Shipping costs will be clearly displayed at checkout before payment is completed.


6. Order Tracking

If tracking is available through the courier service, customers will receive tracking information once the order has been shipped.

Customers can use this information to monitor the delivery status of their package.


7. Incorrect Shipping Information

Customers are responsible for ensuring that the shipping address provided at checkout is correct and complete.

Light & Linen will not be responsible for:

  • Orders delivered to incorrect addresses provided by the customer

  • Delays caused by incomplete shipping information

If an order is returned due to an incorrect address, the customer may be required to pay additional shipping fees for re-delivery.


8. Lost or Delayed Packages

If your order has not arrived within the estimated delivery timeframe, please contact us at:

We will assist in contacting the courier and investigating the shipment.


9. Damaged Deliveries

If your order arrives damaged, please notify us within 3 days of receiving the package.

Customers may be asked to provide:

  • Photos of the damaged item

  • Photos of the packaging

  • Order details

This allows us to investigate the issue and provide a suitable solution.
