Light & Linen – Returns & Refund Policy

Thank you for shopping with Light & Linen. We want you to be happy with your purchase. This Returns and Refunds Policy explains the conditions under which products purchased from our website (lightandlinen.co.za) may be returned or refunded. This policy operates in accordance with the Consumer Protection principles set out under the Protection of Personal Information Act and the Consumer Protection Act of South Africa.

1. Return Period

Customers may request a return within 2 days of receiving their order.
Return requests made after the 2-day period may not be accepted.

2. Condition of Returned Items

To be eligible for a return, items must:

  • Be unused and unworn

  • Be in original condition

  • Include original packaging and tags

  • Not show any signs of damage, wear, or washing

Light & Linen reserves the right to refuse a return if the product does not meet these conditions.

3. Change of Mind Returns

If you would like to return a product because you changed your mind or no longer want the item, the following conditions apply:

  • The item must be returned in perfect condition

  • The customer is responsible for the return shipping cost

  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable

4. Damaged or Incorrect Items

If you receive a product that is:

  • Damaged

Please contact us within 2 days of delivery at chanellemarx75@gmail.com with:

  • Your order number

  • Photos of the item

  • A description of the issue

Once reviewed, Light & Linen may offer:

  • A replacement, or

  • A refund

depending on the situation.

5. Refund Processing

Once your returned item has been received and inspected:

  • Approved refunds will be processed through the original payment method

  • Refunds may take 5–10 business days to appear depending on your payment provider

6. Non-Refundable Situations

Returns or refunds may not be accepted if:

  • The return request is made after the 2-day return window

  • The item has been used, worn, washed, or damaged

  • The product is returned without original packaging

  • No refunds on clothing or lingerie

7. Shipping Costs

  • Flat rate delivery: R90

  • Free delivery on orders over R1000

Shipping fees are non-refundable, unless the item received was incorrect or faulty.
